Acceptable Use

The idea

Because the network is shared among friends and family on rented servers, the golden rule is simple: don't do anything that could get the servers shut down or get anyone into legal trouble.

Not allowed

• Illegal content — CSAM, terrorist content, or anything criminal under EU law
• Attacks of any kind — DDoS, hacking, or scanning/targeting other people's systems
• Spam and phishing
• Hosting or spreading malware
• Fraud and scams

Perfectly fine

• Normal private browsing and streaming
• Downloading your own legitimately-acquired files
• Personal projects and self-hosting
• Anything lawful you'd do on your own connection

If something goes wrong

Misuse gets your access removed. Anything seriously illegal will be reported to the relevant authorities as required by law, and we'll preserve what little information we have.
